Dutch staffing company E&A Uitzendbureau has selected LISA Solutions to manage its employee bicycle fleet, introducing connected fleet management, digital bike reservations and a new e-bike pilot.
With a portfolio of approximately 2,500 bicycles, E&A provides transportation for international employees travelling between their accommodation and workplaces across the Netherlands.
By encouraging employees to cycle to work, E&A also promotes a healthier and more sustainable way of commuting. Cycling provides an opportunity for daily physical activity while helping reduce reliance on car transportation.
The company has more than 30 years of experience in recruitment and workforce services, where helping employees get to work reliably is an important part of its operations.
E&A has chosen LISA to support both conventional bicycles and e-bikes, starting with a planned deployment of 600 bicycles and the possibility of expanding across its wider fleet.
Making bicycle access easier for employees
A key part of the solution is making it easier for employees to find and reserve bicycles for their daily commute.
Through LISA, employees will be able to check bicycle availability and make reservations digitally. E&A’s fleet administrators will have an overview of reservations, vehicle usage and maintenance needs across different locations.
Both conventional bicycles and e-bikes are planned to have IoT connectivity, giving E&A GPS-based fleet visibility and location information. Connected e-bikes can also provide battery status and additional vehicle data, depending on the hardware.
This will allow E&A to manage its different bicycle types through one system, rather than separate processes for reservations, fleet administration and vehicle monitoring.
E&A prepares to introduce e-bikes
E&A is also preparing to pilot electric bicycles as an additional transport option for employees. The pilot will explore whether e-bikes can make longer commutes easier and offer a practical alternative to conventional cycling.
LISA will provide the software for reservations, fleet monitoring and administration, helping E&A evaluate whether to expand its e-bike offering.
A new market for LISA Solutions
LISA already provides fleet management software to shared mobility operators across international markets. The collaboration with E&A brings that technology into workforce mobility, where bicycles are managed for employees rather than public rental customers.
Staffing agencies, logistics companies and industrial employers often manage transportation between accommodation and workplaces. These operations need many of the same tools used in shared mobility, but adapted to employee access, recurring journeys and internal fleet administration.
LISA sees workforce mobility as a natural extension of its existing platform and an opportunity to support more organizations managing employee transportation.

“We are grateful for the trust Bas and the E&A team have shown in choosing LISA. Managing reliable transportation for employees is an important responsibility, and we appreciate the opportunity to support them. This partnership is also an important step for LISA as we enter workforce mobility. We see opportunities to combine fleet management with AI to help companies manage employee transportation more efficiently. We’re looking forward to working closely with E&A and building a long-term partnership.”
